          Frances "Fran" Irene Kleikamp, 79, Powers, passed away on Monday July 27, 2015 after a long and courageous battle with cancer at Christian Park Healthcare Center in Escanaba. She was born on October 22, 1935 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late John and Bernice (Reks) Samadrol.
 
          Frances was active in 4-H when her children were growing up. She also enjoyed watching youth activities and sporting events of her grandchildren, especially football, track and basketball games.
 
          She is survived by her son: Bill (Lori) Prestay, her four daughters: Liz (Phil) Mayfield, Carol (Jim) Quist, Theresa (Tom) Rogers and Judy (Tim) Peterson, fifteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
 
          Frances was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband: Joseph Prestay, three daughters: Nancy Jo Prestay, Helen Caron and Tina Belongia, an infant daughter: Sharon, a granddaughter: Jennifer Duch and her siblings.
         
          In keeping with Frances Kleikamp's wishes, the funeral and burial services will be private. The Allo Coolman Funeral Homes are assisting her family.
