Glen R. Poupore, 84, Powers, passed away Thursday morning September 23, 2021 at Roubal Care & Rehab Center. He was born on December 19, 1936 in Powers, MI, son of the late Raymond and Lorena (Gagne) Poupore. On July 5, 1958 he married the former Evelyn Wentland at St. Francis Xavier church in Spalding.
Glen is survived by his wife, three children: Cheryl (Rick) Gurgall, Alan (Susan) Poupore and Lisa (Bill) Kirschner, four brothers: Harold (Barbara), Ray (Shirley), Mike and Joe (Linda) Poupore, six grandchildren: Amanda, Eric, Jessica, Annalise, Zachary and Cassandra, two great-grandchildren: Trean and Colin, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers: Art, Richard, Gordon and Cyril Poupore, and two infant brothers.
Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (CST) on Tuesday September 28, 2021 at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home in Spalding. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Glen Poupore will be at 1:00 p.m. (CST) on Tuesday at the funeral home with Fr. Rick Courier officiating. Burial will follow services in the Spalding Township Cemetery.
