Hilda Angeline Menard, 97, Hermansville, passed away on Thursday November 13, 2025 at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson in Iron Mountain, MI. She was born on October 6, 1928 in Hermansville, MI, daughter of the late Angelo and Placida (Satori) Maule. On October 16, 1948 she married the love of her life, Louis C. Menard at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hermansville.
She is survived by a son: Thomas (Mary) Menard, daughters: Linda (Joseph) Poupore, and Carol (Charles) Anderson, eight grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Hilda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandson: Jeremy Poupore, a great-grandson: Cameron Poupore, and five siblings: Bruno Maule, Remo Maule, Norman Maule, Perina Bell and Naomi Hayes.
In keeping with Hilda’s wishes, there will be no public services. Burial will take place in the Meyer Township Cemetery.
The Allo Coolman Funeral Home is assisting the Menard family.

"Hello, sending our deepest sympathy to all of you . We visited with Hilda several times over the years, either seeing her at the cemetery, or stopping at her house and enjoyed it immensely! My mom, Lori, is Hilda's first cousin the daughter of Placida's brother, Leno Sartori. We enjoyed talking about the family and growing up in Hermansville. She shared pictures of the Sartori family with us, and they are treasured! We all live in Escanaba, please email if you are ever in town and would like to visit.
