Joann M. Pearson, 72, Spalding, passed away on Saturday October 16, 2010 at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers. She was born on March 24, 1938 to the late Henry and Ida (Gravelle) Hupy in Spalding, MI. On September 28, 1963 she married the late Warner Pearson in Hermansville.

Joann is survived by her three children: Randy (Cindy) Pearson, Susan (Bill) Cronick and Tina Pearson, two brothers: Ken (Jeanne) Hupy and John (Mary) Hupy, three sisters: Mary Callahan, Betty (Jim) Lentscher and Theresa Babe, one granddaughter: Ashley Cronick and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one brother: Joe Hupy.

Friends may call from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. (CST) on Wednesday October 20, 2010 at Allo Coolman Funeral Home in Spalding. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Joann Pearson will follow visitation at 5:00 p.m. (CST) on Wednesday at Allo Coolman Funeral Home with Fr. Emmett Norden officiating. Burial will take place in the Spalding Township Cemetery.
