John R. Couillard, 74, Ford River, passed away on Sunday September 30, 2012 at his home. He was born on February 12, 1938 in Escanaba, MI, the son of the late Gilbert and Julia (Anderson) Couillard Sr.
John worked all his life in the woods, and loved being in the outdoors and watching the different wildlife. He also loved playing cribbage and listening to country music. John always enjoyed spending time with his family, especially all his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by one sister: Mary Jean (LeeRoy) King, four brothers: Gilbert (Dorothy) Jr., Francis, Jim (Barbara) and Wilfred Couillard, as well as many nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents, one sister: Helen Couillard and one brother: Emil Couillard.
Honoring John Couillard's wishes, cremation will take place . The Allo Coolman Funeral Homes are assisting the Couillard family.
