Date of Death: January, 02 2023

          Shirlee Joy Lancour, 85, Escanaba, passed away on Monday January 2, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born on July 13, 1937 in Escanaba, daughter of the late Howard and Anita (Davis) Vanlerberghe.
 
          Shirlee is survived by six children: Jeff "Homer" Lancour, Jay Lancour, Jill Plouff, Jeanne (David) Branstrom, James "Knob" Lancour and Julie (Perry) PeGan, four siblings: James (Joan) Vanlerberghe, Terry (Judy) Vanlerberghe, Dennis Vanlerberghe and Joan (Ross) Rhoads, eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law: Sherri Lancour, as well as many nieces and nephews.
 
          She was preceded in death by her parents, a son: Joseph Lancour, a brother: Ronald Vanlerberghe, a son-in-law: Terry Plouff and three great grandsons.
 
          A funeral service to celebrate the life of Shirlee Lancour will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday January 26, 2023 at the Escanaba Seventh-Day Adventist Church with a luncheon to follow. Burial will take place in the Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.
 
          Shirlee was very thankful for all of her church family who will be providing the service and luncheon.
