          Stephen “Steve” L. Williams, 73, Powers, passed away on Tuesday September 23, 2025 at home with family by his side following a long illness. He was born on January 28, 1952 in Newberry, MI, son of Leona (Huntley) Williams and the late Glenn Williams. On January 28, 1989 he married the former Judith “Judy” Collins at 1st United Methodist Church in Escanaba.
 
          Steve greatly enjoyed his work and passion for firearms as a local gunsmith.
 
          He is survived by his wife: Judy, his mother: Leona, three step-children: Laurie Beam, Stephen West and Jason West, four siblings: Glenys, Teri, Scott and Dana, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
 
          Steve was preceded in death by his father: Glenn. 
 
          In keeping with Steve’s wishes, there will be no public services.
 
          The Allo Coolman Funeral Home is assisting the Williams family.
