Sue Ann Bellmore
Date of Death: November, 10 2025

Sue Ann Bellmore, 65, of Bark River, MI (formerly De Pere, WI), unexpectedly passed into the Lord’s arms on Monday, November 10, 2025 at her home. She was born November 14, 1959 in Milwaukee, WI, to the late Robert “Bob” Wendland (Lori Skawinski) and Lorraine (Erickson) Wendland. Sue graduated from Carney-Nadeau Public School in 1978, married Steve Bellmore on August 11, 1984 at Carney Evangelical Free Church in Carney, MI, and raised her sons in De Pere before moving to Bark River to be closer to her grandchildren. Working for Humana Inc. for ~30 years, Sue had a lifelong passion for helping others, which led her to pursue a career in nursing later in life. She attended NWTC and UW-Green Bay, ultimately graduating with a BSN, and proceeded to work, and help others, as a home health nurse until her passing.

In addition to being a dedicated, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Sue was an exceptionally generous and compassionate person who touched everyone she knew. She was quick to help and quick to love. She loved her family, friends, pets, and other animals; her church; the Packers, Badgers, Blue Devils, Bucks, and Brewers; spending time with her grandchildren and watching her grandson play hockey; watching birds and deer in her backyards; walking with her dogs; kayaking and skiing; concerts and music; watching movies and Survivor; guacamole, margaritas, and other Mexican food, pizza, and trying new restaurants; and traveling. The world is a richer place for her enormous heart.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her father-in-law Eugene E. Bellmore; and her dog, Stitch, among other pets. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Steve; her sons, Brett and Beau (Vanessa Peterson); her grandchildren, Beaux Daniel Peterson and Ivy Sue Bellmore; her brothers, Tom Wendland and James Wendland; her half-sisters, Bobbi Wendland (Clay) Rice and Kim Wendland; her mother-in-law, Rose Bellmore; her brothers-in-law, E. Scott (Kelly) Bellmore and A. Paul (Doreen) Bellmore, and sisters-in-law, Judy Kisala, Sandy (Mike) Hayward, Sue (Scott) Haelterman, Debbie (Bruce) Kirschner, and Peggy (Bryan) Gyselnick; several cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; her dogs, Izzy/Isabelle and Prim; and her cat, Starlord/Kitty.
