Bruce Lloyd Sundberg, 58, Rapid River, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday September 19, 2021. He was born on December 26, 1962 in Escanaba, son of the late Lloyd and Elizabeth (LaCroix) Sundberg. On July 12, 2003 he married the former Dawn Bohaczek in Rapid River.
Bruce loved riding his Harley Davidson, going for rides with his wife and also going for a ride to get ice cream. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father and papa and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Bruce is survived by his wife, three children: Nick (Heidi Ives) Sundberg, Ryan (Monica) Sundberg and Jen (Brandon) Rogers, a sister: Suzan (Mike) Piller, a brother: Kerry (Vicky) Sundberg, two grandsons: Parker and Oliver Rogers, as well as nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son: Paul Sundberg.
Friends may call from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday September 23, 2021 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Rapid River. A funeral to celebrate the life of Bruce Sundberg will be at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday at church with Pastor Steve Gauger officiating. A luncheon will follow services at church. He will be laid to rest next to his son Paul in the Rapid River Cemetery.
