          Doreen Marie Paquin (Raiche), 62, a long-time resident of Hermansville, Michigan went to be with the Lord on the morning of Friday, October 28, 2016 following a lengthy fight with cancer. Doreen was surrounded by family members at the time of her passing at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain, MI.  She was born in Dearborn, Michigan on July 27, 1954.
          Doreen graduated from Melvindale High School in Melvindale, MI. She resided in Hermansville, MI and married Harry J. Paquin on September 27, 1975.                                                                                 
          Doreen enjoyed camping, baking, playing games, and spending time with family and friends.  She especially loved her grandchildren, devoting a great amount of time to helping care for them. She also had a great love for her little dog, Scruffy.  She also loved traveling with her cousin Cheryl.  Doreen touched many lives during her lifetime with her caring personality.
          She is survived by her son, Craig (Melissa) Paquin and daughter, Kimberly (Bjorn) Nelson, three sisters, Diane Raiche, Linda Saxon, and Tammy (Billie) Conley, and one brother, Larry Raiche. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Caeden, Conner, and Isabella Paquin and Aidon and Annika Nelson.
          She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry J. Paquin, parents, Charles and Rita Raiche, brother, Thomas Raiche, father and mother-in-laws Harry and Danage Paquin, and sister-in-law Delores (Frank) Herdzina.
          She leaves behind  two sisters-in-law, Sharon (Robert) Charles and Ann (Thomas) Raiche, and one brother-in-law, Lloyd Paquin, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as many close friends.
          Friends may call from 12:00 (noon) to 2:00 p.m. (CST) on Wednesday November 2, 2016 at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home in Spalding. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Doreen Paquin will be held at 2:00 p.m. (CST) on Wednesday at the funeral home with Fr. Emmett Norden officiating. Burial will follow services in the Meyer Township Cemetery.
