Date of Death: November, 26 2013

          Frank J. Ducat, 73, Hermansville, passed away Tuesday morning November 26, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba. He was born on July 10, 1940 in Nathan, MI, the son of the late Michael and Mary (Hochbein) Ducat. On October 13, 1962 he married the former Janet Gribble in Hermansville.
 
          Friends and family will remember Frank for his good sense of humor, as he was always telling jokes.
 
          He is survived by his wife, four children: Sue (Rob) Kerbyson, Sharon Ducat, Sandi (Jim) Chesnut and Steve (Erin) Ducat, four grandchildren: John, Maddy, Oliver and Emmett, four sisters: Adeline Techmeier, Doris (Neil) Billings, Gladys Furton and Jan (Jim) DeLaurelle, one brother: Edwin "Tom" Ducat, one sister-in-law: Barb (Clancy) Kell, and many nieces and nephews.
 
          Frank was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Joe and Bill Ducat and one sister-in-law: Patricia Wills.
 
          Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. (CST) on Saturday December 21, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church in Hermansville. A memorial service will be celebrated at 4:00 p.m. (CST) on Saturday at the church with Pastor Chris Bergquist and Pastor Jim Mathews officiating. A luncheon will follow in the church fellowship hall.
