Glenn H. Arnold, 84, Hermansville, passed away peacefully on Saturday February 27, 2016 at his home. He was born on March 26, 1931 in Powers, MI, the son of the late William and Ida (Poquette) Arnold. He married the former Delores Grenier in 1954.
Glenn graduated in 1949 from Powers-Spalding High School and then joined the U.S. Air Force. He served both in the Korean War and Vietnam War, retiring in 1977 as a Chief Master Sergeant (CMS). Glenn loved spending time in the outdoors, hunting, fishing and being at the "sugar bush" making maple syrup.
He is survived by his four children: Steve Arnold, Mark (Jene'e) Arnold, Dan (Michelle) Arnold and Dianne (Jim) Lynch, four brothers: Edward (Yvonne) Arnold, Douglas (Dorothy) Arnold, Philip (Mary Jane) Arnold and Robert Arnold, three sisters: Sharon Aman, Joan (William) Daniels and Mary (Alton) Larsen, seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild on the way, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, four brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. (CST) on Monday March 14, 2016 at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home in Spalding. Burial will take place in the Meyer Township Cemetery in the spring.
