Helen S. Cappaert, 90, Wilson, passed away on Tuesday March 16, 2021 at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers. She was born on April 26, 1930 in Wilson, MI, daughter of the late Antone "Tony" and Anna (Orechowska) Wojtowicz. On May 4, 1957 she married the late Joseph Cappaert at Zion Episcopal Church in Wilson.
Helen loved cooking, baking, gardening, playing cards and playing Yahtzee.
She is survived by her five children: Steve (Donna) Cappaert, Bob Cappaert, Al (Patricia Dani) Cappaert, Tom (Debbie) Cappaert and Sharon (Dick) Bellmore, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers: George and Ted Willa and four sisters: Mary Idle, Stella Malm, Caz Harris and Antoinette Hammerberg.
At this time services will be private for the family. A funeral service to celebrate Helen's life will be officiated by the Rt. Rev. Bishop Rayford Ray. Burial will take place in the Wilson Cemetery in the spring.
