Larry A. Boye, 64, of Escanaba, was called home on Monday, February 3, 2020 surrounded by his family at his home.
Larry was born on November 20, 1955 in Menominee, the son of the late Alan and Arlene (Deacon) Boye.
He married the former Pamela Erickson on August 12, 1995 at the Free Lutheran Church in Escanaba.
Larry was a hard-working man, a survivor. If you ever needed something fixed, it just took a phone call. His smile and laugh were contagious. He lived life on his own terms, he lived, laughed and loved whole heartedly, a family man to the end.
Larry is survived by his loving wife Pamela; daughter Tonia (Steve) Holmberg; son Larry (Crista) Boye; grandchildren Aleshia McMillan, Derik Sexton, John Dausey and Jack Boye; great grandchildren Denzel, Tatiiana, Gentae, Arayah, Elijah, Kay Lynn and Isaiah; brothers Alan (Jean) Boye and Jim (Susan) Boye; sisters Beth and Teri Boye
Larry is preceded in death by his parents; and his sons Rod and James Boye.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday February 8, 2020 at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home (400 S. 10th St., Escanaba, MI 49829). A funeral to celebrate Larry’s life will follow visitation on Saturday at the funeral home with Fr. Emmett Norden officiating.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the family of Larry Boye (If so desired).
