Leonard "Lenny" S. LaCoursier

          Leonard "Lenny" S. LaCoursier Jr., 75, Hermansville, passed away on Monday October 10, 2016 at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers. He was born on February 12, 1941 in Hermansville, the son of the late Leonard and Monica LaCoursier Sr.
 
          Upon graduating from high school, Lenny began working, and also joined the National Guard for 10 years. He later worked for A Lindberg & Sons. He was a proud member of the Operating Engineers Union #324. Lenny enjoyed wintering in Gulf Shores, Alabama and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
 
          Leonard is survived by his three children: Steve LaCoursier, Cindy (Ted) Hanchek and Darla (Mike) Willa, seven grandchildren: Sami, Kalee, Shea, Kacie, Dyllion, Branden and Allissa, as well as four great-grandchildren: Colton, Brody, Mason and Briella.
 
          He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Doug LaCoursier.
 
          Friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. (CST) on Friday October 14, 2016 at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home in Spalding with Tony Revord American Legion post #244 rites at 10:45 a.m. A funeral service to celebrate Lenny's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. (CST) on Friday at the funeral home with Fr. Michael Vichich officiating. Burial will take place in the Meyer Township Cemetery.
