Lorraine E. St. John

Lorraine E. St. John, 89, Danforth area, passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 17, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born on July 16, 1926 in Escanaba, the daughter of the late Nels and Irene (Viau) Bergeon.
Lorraine was a very hard worker while attending to her many duties on the family farm in her younger years. Her strong work ethic followed her throughout her life working many different jobs to help support her family. She was an avid QVC shopper, and loved watching her grandchildren's sports or listening to then on the radio. She also loved sewing, crafting, camping, listening to classic country music, visits from her family and friends, and just being in her home in Danforth watching the wildlife in her yard.
She is survived by five children: Mary (Gary) Ross, Paul (Pam) Bruce, Sheryl (Neil) Kositzky, Laurie (Allan) Falish and Pat (Debbi) St. John, four sisters: Laura (Wayne) Bernard, Cathy LaFleur, Helen (Bob) Vidmar and Marilyn (Richard) McKnight, three brothers: Gerald (Betty) Bergeon, Robert (Shan) Bergeon and Ed Bergeon, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Leo St. John, three brothers: John and Dan Bergeon and Llewellyn Larson, one sister: Mary LaFave and three grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday November 24, 2015 at St. Thomas Church with Fr. Eric Olson officiating. A luncheon will follow Mass in the church parish hall.
