Peter "Pete" J. Kasbohm

Peter "Pete" J. Kasbohm, 76, Riverland, passed away on Saturday August 25, 2012 at his home. He was born on May 15, 1936 in Escanaba, MI, the son of the late William and June (Allingham) Kasbohm. On June 9, 2001 he married Betty (Rogers) Kasbohm.

He was raised in Bark River where he also graduated from high school. Pete was a very kind and giving person who always enjoyed helping others. He was a member of the Days River Area Lions Club. Pete loved camping, riding his four wheeler and fishing in his younger years. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a man that was always on the go and looking forward to his next project.

He is survived by his wife, four children: Jeffery Kasbohm, Joseph Kasbohm, Jeri Kay (Jack) Mulligan and Katherine Rogers (Marc Bottari), two brothers: James "Jiggs" (Ruth Ann) Kasbohm and William Kasbohm, five grandchildren: Sarah, Peter, June, Jill and Allan "A.J." as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife: Nancy (Jacques) Kasbohm in 1998, one sister: Terry Godlewski and one sister-in-law: Nancy "Boots" Kasbohm.

Friends may call from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday August 30, 2012 at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services will be celebrated at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Debby Bergeon officiating. There will be a meal following services at the Kasbohm residence (2852 16.5 Rd. Escanaba, MI 49829). Entombment will take place in the Gardens of Rest Mausoleum.
