"I just received a notification informing me that Bill had passed. My deepest sympathies go out to the Boyce family. I could tell you many stories about your father while at Northern, but I'm not quite sure if the statute of limitations has run out yet on some of those activities...And what I could tell you, you already know. He was a Good Man! I met bill at NMU, when I joined Delta Sigma Phi fraternity. He became my Big Brother and helped shepard me through the whole University experience. Which actually made Animal House look like a Sunday picnic by comparison. I am saddened by his passing, but feel very fortunate to have shared laughter, and more importantly time with him! "
